Eggs & onions

LOLOL, reading your comments on eggs & onions. Well I forgot to get eggs when we went shopping the other night and the only "cheap" onions I could find were the potent red onions. The white onions they had were the American imported at $7.00 a kilo, I think not. So DH said he would go to the store to get the eggs. Now here, a dozen eggs in a container are hard to find sometimes. You can find flats of 2 1/2 dozen eggs on every street corner but what am I going to do with 2 1/2 dozen eggs? So a lot of times you have to drive around to the different grocery stores to find a simple dozen eggs without all the chicken shit all over them. Same with cottage cheese. I haven't seen cottage cheese in any store since May. It's just not there or anywhere. DH just happened to "see the white local onions" so he picked some up. The purple onions are really REALLY strong.

I did my walk this morning, I wore my "Santa Hat" but the blinking light row on the top front didn't work. While walking I guess i gave the foregin third country national workers(TCNs) a smile. Several of them stopped, grinned and said Merry Christmas Madam. Then the security truck drove by, they are "locals", as in the military security guys who are NOT foreigners. They slowed down and looked at me, nodded their heads (unusual for them to recogonize a woman) and smiled and drove on. I met them further on down the road and they smiled and nodded again. So at least I gave someone something to smile about today.

The cats don't seem to be bothered by the tree, they looked at it and didn't get a closer look.

So today I have a pecan pie, pumpkin pie, MAYBE apple pie, cranberry sauce to make, plus do the vacuuming & clean up. HAHAHAHAHA, sounds like an all nighter to me. Right now I have some smelly wax stuff burning in a couple of tart burners, smells like pine trees.

The satellite movie channels are having "Special Seasonal" movies for 2 days ONLY. Well pardon me, please don't go out of your way and heaven forbid should you run "Seasonal" tv shows for more than 2 days. Kiss my ass. I guess it's better than none.

Gotta go, start cooking or something.

I'll take the two days over the two months of 24/7 holiday music.
Have a very Merry Christmas!
