Yesterday (Friday the 13th,) was our son's birthday. He was born on Friday the 13th but sadly it has been an unlucky day for him. I did call him and sing Happy Birthday but our conversation was not at all happy. He could use lots and lots of prayers and positive thoughts so he can get his son back.

We had a "pre-Thanksgiving" dinner yesterday to try out some new recipes before we decide if we want to keep them. Fresh red peppers wtih green beans is a keeper while Baked Sweek & white potatoes is nasty. We also tried a Cajun spice rub on the chicken I cooked and that is a keeper too, we just need to make a liquid out of it so we can inject the turkey. So now on to try more recipes.
