The connection is better but still sucks.

I did my 2 lap, 1 mile walk this morning. Felt good but it was soooo very sad. It is mating season for the 1,000 or so cats on the compound and there is a fresh batch of tiny baby kittens too. I saw 2 tiny kittens, must be only a few days old laying together. I know one of them is dead because it didn't move when I walked closer. They are in a fenced in "substation" on the main road beside houses. Mama is there but she isn't cuddled with them. I wish I could have gotten in there and picked them up and brought them home, but I wish I could do that with the pure black cat I saw too.

I fixed my Lasagna Primavera last night, vegetable lasagna, it was good!

I stitched on my American Ornament last night. Maybe I can get it done this year. This is a before picture and a picture of where I left off last night.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

This internet is so fucked up again today. I don't know if it is that stupid firefox thing or what but nothing wants to load on the first try. This is the second time I am adding this!

WOO HOO! The Cranberry boat came in! The grocery store had the frozen cranberries from Australia today so I bought 3 boxes and a box of frozen blueberries. I know they won't be any left by tonight. Also got the turkey for next Thursday. Nothing else in the line of holiday items in the store this year. Kind of depressing.

Today I am working on my American Christmas ornament. I started that one a few years ago.

I suppose this quote may be true, but I've been healthy and not happy and been happy but not healthy.

The internet connection lately sucks big time. I have no clue what the hell is wrong but it takes forever to do anything so I haven't been on much or tried to do anything online. Facebook is so fucked up and it totaly messes up the rest of my browser windows so I haven't been there much except for today.

I stitched again for a couple hours last night, almost done with that October stamp. I think I may have my stitching feeling back. It may have been my stitching corner was uncomfortable for me. Since we re arranged the living room it seems to be a tiny bit more comfortable but I still am not fond of the arrangement.

I had left over Indian food for dinner last night and my blood count was WAY out in space. 208 actually. Not supposed to be that high. The food was good though. I've also drank more water in the past couple days and I am swelled up, I pee all night. Since loosing this 20 lbs, I don't pee myself every time I sneeze, cough, laugh & move, that is the best part.

I did walk on Wednesday and got on the treadmill a few times during the day. I am only up to 2 minutes, it's not as easy as I thought it would be.

No Christmas crap up at all. I still have my Thanksgiving stuff up and I really don't care if I put any Christmas shit up or not. Oh yeah, I moved my Lizzie Kate Flip It Christmas piece to the door way. I may or may not use my Chrismtas coffee mugs, my cross stitch ornaments are ALWAYS on display. I wish I still had my nativity here but I don't.

Happy Birthday Jimmy!

Keep watching this space!
It's a boy! Happy Birthday James Russell! Today is my son's 27th birthday. He was born on Friday, November 13th at 2:55AM in Alabama. I sent him a blood pressure monitor for his birthday. Not much but he really needs to keep track of it.
My internet was down last night. Apparently it was out in a lot of places here.
I am desparately trying to get this stupid iPod thing right. I got one for free from doing surverys over the past several years. I had enough points to I got one in July. It's an iPod shuffle, the itty bitty one. Ok so I had my Dd help me set it up and open an account, added music and away I went. Got a gift card with another bunch of points from another place, added music. Ok so I had to back up the iPod for when I brought it back here. Or at least I thought I did. I had 5 discs of music, or at least 5 discs. Get back here, plug the thing in, set up the account here, start plugging the discs in and the music is all over the place. It's in so many files on this hard drive and i just can't figure out how to get them to my Apple iTunes account. It has junk from files I had no idea I had in this account that have no relevance to music. I'm about ready to delete everything and start all over.
Last night I fixed Lasagna Primavera, it was another GREAT recipe and a keeper.
I stitched a little bit more last night too.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRR

The damn internet won't work. I can only get 1/2 of anything to load. I can't get to my SparkPeople site, I can't get to ANY of my boards. This had better NOT be fucked up all week! It will NOT be pretty here, but then I guess the house would get scrubbed from top to bottom. This just plain SUCKS!

I walked again today! I did 1.47 miles in 33 minutes. I started out at 4PM and the temp must have been still around 95 or more. The first lap was ok but the second lap I had to push. Guess I need to start a bit later. I am still pleased with myself that I get out and walk. Still got a couple looks today but they can kiss my ass if they think it bothers me!

So today I had a rice cake with peanut butter & bananas for breakfast, brown rice that was GOOD! A fava bean salad (fava beans here are called foul -pronounced fool) for lunch and left over spinach & tomato "salad", left over fava bean salad & couscous for dinner & lots of water during the day.

At least the good part is I found my flash drive. I have been looking for the damn thing for 3 days. It's bad enough I lost the cap for it back home but I couldn't find it here and I knew I had taken it out of my purse when I came back. It was back in my purse.
So Now I guess I need to make my list of the new stash and add it to my ever growing database of what I already have.

How many days have I been here?

Has it been 8 months yet? You mean it's only been 2 miserable days in hell? This internet connection is beyond horrible again (still) I can see I definately won't be online much!

Ok, well, after the terrorizing ride through traffic lst night looking for the place to have my passport pictures taken, it was gone so we had to go to a new place. The guy was busy taking photos of his friends so I went back down stairs in the shop and the shop manager wanted to know what happened, I told him. So the manager goes back upstairs and tells the guy "US Passport pictures NOW" Pissed the guy off and his friends too but got that done. Come back after 45 minutes to pick up picture.
Ok so another terror filled ride to another shopping center to look for exercise equipt. Found a jump rope & some stretchy ropes then went to the grocery store.
Well it sure is going to be fun trying to track what I eat on Spark People because IF there are nutrition lables on stuff it definately isn't in English. Then out of the corner of my eye I saw somthing, yep, a mouse ran across the floor under the huge shelving units. Wasn't that fun? Killed time during wailing hour in the grocery store. Go back & pick up my pictures.

Ok so now today the kitchen faucet is spraying water out of the base of the faucet. DH says he's had them fixing it 3 times so far while I was gone so I called them again. The guy says water not work from dish washer? I said NO, WATER FAUCET! Geeze, so that was like 40 minutes ago, we'll see how long it takes them.

I did manage to walk this morning, for 21 minutes, made 1 1/4 circuit of the compound ring road. I am pleased because that is progress to me. However, I weighed myself and that scale is WAY OFF! Not to mention it's in kilos not pounds, oh well. Last week in the Dr;s off I weighed in at 151.4, today the stupid scale says 147. I think NOT! I don't think I've lost THAT much weight in a week because it doesn't feel like it. I'll except 150 but NOT 147. Someone needs new scales. Did I mention it was 92F when I was walking this morning? I'll take my 42F and put on extra clothes. I did however walk in ankle lenght pants, a jogging bra, compression shirt AND an 3X t shirt on just to make sure I was covered enough. My Ipod made it a little more bearable.

Oh did I mention that before I left my comfy HOME I was cleaning up in the bathroom and a stone popped out of my diamond ring? I was horrified, heartbroken but spent 10 minutes on the floor looking for it and luckily found it. It's so teeny tiny but it needs to be fixed. I feel naked without my ring!

Gotta go sort through my new cross stitch stash and put it away. I really hope I have uplifting posts soon!

Internet broke

Incase you dont' see me on, our internet is down. We buy cards each month, like phone cards and DH forgot to buy one the other day. He had to attatch this connection to his phone or hook it up somehow.

Mets beat the Yankees yesterday, no big surprise there. They just plain suck this year so far.

Gotta take kitty #3 to vets today for a general check up & shots.

Fixed pasta noodles with vegetables last night, tonight is chilled bean salad with grilled chicken.

Internet problems

Update to the post below! It's now after 1PM in the afternoon, up until about 1/2 hour ago, the internet was just fine and dandy, not super fast like it USED to be but faster than yesterday. NOT all of a sudden, that mouse has died! This SO sucks!

A Holy CRAP moment! I was out doing my vigorous walk this morning when these wet blobs started dropping on me from the sky! That was a definate rare thing! I did see that it was very grey, cloudy and overcast this morning but sheesh it's already rained it's normal 2 days this year and it's April which adds to the rare occurrence (sorry, the spell checker hasn't worked in months on this thing)

Well if you don't see me for awhile it's because the mouse this country uses to power the kingdomwide internet hasn't been fed in a month or so and it's dying and just doesn't run around on that power wheel as often as it should. My connection was absoultely horrible yesterday, it took forever for anything to load if it did, so rather than get my blood pressure in a worse condition that it is, I just walked away from the computer and stitched. Hopefully I can check around a little bit today.

Yesterday I stitched more on this exchange piece. I got one side done, had to frog about 100 stitches on the bottom letter since it was off by 2 stitches. The fabric is darker that the scan shows and the floss is much prettier. Unfortunately because of the problems I had withe the floss at the begining of the piece, the color changes don't line up right on both sides. For those that don't know, if you turn your head sideways so your left ear is pointed to your shoulder, you should be able to read what the tree says. It says Pals.

I took all my "must do" projects and put them in a tote bag by my stitching table so I can get them done. I have 6 pieces that NEED to be done by May 26, 3 are exchanges and 3 are for family

Well the hunter scored again yesterday, Miss Annie got herself another bird again. This one was a large Mourning dove, there were feathers all over the yard and the patio, who knew one of those birds could have so many feathers. She was pretty damn proud of herself too.

I need to say this now, since everytime I say something about it on my blog, the alternate happens and life goes on. I am on day 124 of my so called "menstrual cycle", I haven't had a period since December 6. Can this be? Is it over? I have had hot flashes, night sweats, extremely dry skin and a few other symptoms and I WAS diagnosed a few years ago as being peri-menopausal so hopefully it's finally here!! I will however keep that bottom shelf full of tampons & pads just in case since I can't buy tampons here.

The other night I fixed the Cheese & Chili "Souffle" for supper. It was pretty good but a little watery. Of course I had to add more cheese, broccoli & cauliflower to the mixture. We finished it up last night. Tonight will be Spinach Citrus salad.

Ok, well I"ve rambled on long enough, I HOPE this posts, so if I normally post on any message boards that you read and I"m not posting, it's my fucked up internet connection again.

Return of the blob

Last night I sat down to stitch something, anything. I looked through my UFO/WIPs and pulled out my Blob WIP. When I picked it up it looked like this: I stitched for almost 3 hours and it looked like this: The top picture is more like the real colors. I've also stitched more on it tonight . Here is the 2 hour progress I made on it on Tuesday night. It's called An American Christmas ornament and it is a freebie pattern from Eterna Silk. This stitchathon is doing wonders for me.

The internet is beyond shitty anymore. It is taking anywhere between 2-5 mintues for pages to load and much longer if anything blinking or animated is on the page. There is no longer a "good time" or a "bad time" to be on, it's horrible 24/7. We even have "HIgh speed" !

We had the corned beef, cabbage, potatoes & carrots yesterday. The corned beef came out ok but it was WAYYYYYYY to salty this go round, but then I don't use salt every day so any additional amount is salty to me. It was even pretty good as leftovers tonight. There is still a couple days of leftovers left.

Happy Wednesday

It's the weekend again! Time to make my shopping list.

I finished up 2 projects yesterday that will become one larger one. I can't tell you what I am doing with them because they are part of a March Challange on the Jayne's Attic board but I can share one of them. I started this project and finished it in an hour! I was excited. It's a SanMan chart. I used Carries' Creation Blue Lagoon & Evergreen

I started the Hinzeit charmed March 17 project. It will be a birthday present for my son's girlfriend. I actually sat and stitched for almost 6 hours yesterday! Happy dancing about that.

The A/C was messed up again yesterday so I had to call maintenence, the thermostat was on 70 but my inside thermometer and the thermostat said 80 and it was so uncomfortable. They came out to fix it but we'll see how long it lasts again. I told them to knock on the door because my doorbell doesn't work, so about 1/2 hour after the a/c people left, someone was banging on my front door fixing my door bell. Thank you but it will work for about 2 days then quit again, the sand and dirt and humidity get in it and it doesn't work again.

Ok so I figured out that I have until 11AM to enjoy the internet. After 11AM it's like you are doing 80MPH and slam into a brick wall. Everything stops or slows to a crawl. It takes at least 3 minutes for ANY page to load on any site. It keeps up like that for the rest of the day and into the late evening. Even at midnight it is horrible. Which I guess is why I stitched for 6 hours yesterday.

Last night we had another bowl of that citrus salad. Tonight I hope will be the last of the chicken fijata chili.

I'm on a roll today

Well I hope my connection holds out long enough to post this. If you are from any of the boards I post on and you don't see me for awhile it's because the Internet connection SUCKS here again. It connects but doesn't go anywhere, nothing loads. So I did other things today.

After 3 years, this finally got done, I finished the stitching back in 2005 but finally made the tuck for it today:

It is the Kitty Paw companion ornament to the St. Patrick's Kitty Moon by Stitchy Kitty. I stitched those a couple years ago.

I looked around my craft room to see if I had the right materials to make a "No Sew Cube" for my St. Patrick's March Coloring Book page. I managed to find a few things and got that together but don't have a picture yet.

Today I am stitching on my Dinky Dyes Autumn Biscornu as part of a Geometric SAL on the Needle Nook board. This is my progress as of this morning. I have stitched a little bit today and it's working oup fast

The piece on the left is the top half.

DH said something about going to the travel agent today to check on making vacation reservations. Now mind you this would excite me to no end and have me jumping all over the furniture & beds BUT, 1-I am on a creative roll today and I don't want to stop, 2-we have gotten hooked on watching Alias on one of the tv channels here and this show only airs once a day instead of the other channel that airs tv episodes twice a day and I think tonight's episode is the season finale and this channel does not show re-runs later and 3-TRAFFIC SUCKS, EVERY street is bumper to bumper traffic and just like LA or NYC at 4 PM on Christmas Eve.

Last night's dinner was the re heated chicken Fajita Chili from Friday night but I added tortilla strips on the bottom and top of the stew. IT was pretty good. If we don't get back too late tonight, we'll re heat it but I am hoping we can stop for take out. Haven't had that in weeks.

I talked to Sweet Baby James yesterday. They were having his birthday party that day. He told me he liked his wagon, "I wuv you" aaaawwwwww, just tear up Grammy's heart there buddy. Now I'm waiting for cake face pictures, LOLOL.

Make up my mind!!

Geeze those damned censors need to make up their asshole minds! First my Photobucket is unblocked, then I go to another album and it's blocked, hit the back button, it's ok, hit the back button again and it's blocked, pull down my history menu and everything says blocked. I was happily working away on my photobucket album a little while ago since I noticed I could see things again, then all of a sudden everything is blocked again. What the fuck?

TGIW!! (for those in the real world, it's the same as TGIF)

Woo Hoo, I talked to my DD last night, her DH is having internet/ebay withdrawls and wants the computers back! So now she needs to go to my house where her computers are stored and get her them back, LOLOLOL She also said that my DGS's school system has used up all their snow days and they don't know what they are going to do to make it up. Well DUH, quit taking off all those 1 day here and 2 days there for stupid reasons. She also said that her husband has booked them a hotel in Florida for their "Spring Break" vacation.

So it was another nice day yesterday, another day of 70F weather. I know it won't last a whole lot longer and it will be in the 90's
stitched a bit last night on a project I started on the plane back in December. It was in the Fall Collaboration pack I got from Ozark Sampler. It is just a small pattern by Dinky Dyes they call Autumn Biscornu. This is as far as I've gotten but it's 1/4 done The fabric is actually a pretty creamy yellow and the floss is Dinky Dyes silk floss.

Last night we had burritos from left over ground beef and black beans from last week. They were good.
Gotta go straighten up my floss basket and set some goals for next month.

February 25

The picture on the left is a view from my top balcony, the picture in the center was taken out my back door on Saturday, the picture on the far right, was taken on Tuesday, Feb, 26. That is the everyday view.

No sandstorm yet today. The past few days have been yucky here, miserable sandstorms. At least when there are snow storms & rain storms, the snow melts and goes away, the same with the rain but the sand stays. It gets in through every teeny, tiny crack, crevice it can find and piles up. Everything was covered with a layer of dust and sand last night, including my STITCHING AREA!! The wind blew and blew, sand was everywhere yesterday. I tried to take some pictures but pictures posted above just don't show up how bad it really is. It was not a pleasant cool breeze either, it was a hot humid breeze. The cats even stayed in the house all day and slept.

Speaking of my stitching area, I sat down to stitch last night but had to spend the first HOUR cleaning everything off. I had to take everything off the table single item by single item, wipe it off, set it aside and keep going. Sand was on EVERYTHING! I guess there must be tiny cracks in the patio door that is behind my chair. But I got the table cleaned off, one project set aside and another one hopefully set to finish today. I put away the Breast Cancer Mandela I was working on last week. Here is my progress. The picture on the left is November 7, 07 the picture on the right was done Feb 24.

Today I hope to finish my San Man SAL project. I need to finish backstitching and add a few more border stitches.

DH took my envelope with the square for my friends quilt up to the mail office yesterday so we'll see how long it takes to get to it's destination in NC or IF it even makes it.

My Photobucket albums are STILL BLOCKED and it looks like the ENTIRE PHOTOBUCKET DOMAIN IS BLOCKED! I have sent an unblock request every single day and sometimes twice a day and nothing has happened. I have sent an e-mail to the follow up e-mail address that says if nothing is done within 48 hours contact us. I have repeated asked in each e-mail why my album is blocked and why won't they respond to me and I get nothing! My photobucket album is even password blocked from public viewing and they still won't unblock it.

Last nights dinner was home made beef stew which we will be having for the next 2 or 3 nights. Last week we made cheese enchiladas again and one night made chili rellenos which were good but we used the wrong kind of chilies. DH & I cooked together in the kitchen which was fun!

Feb 23

100 days! I made it 100 days without buying a pack or carton of cigarettes! The past couple of days have been miserable though, I have been so fustrated with the damn censors that every time I sit down at the computer I have the urge to light up. Wouldn't do me any good to anyway, there isn't a cigarette or a butt in the house and no one to even bum one from.
I WAS going to post my happy celebration on the CSC board but everyone is having such sadness there I don't want to ask for a celebration and especially since I don't post much there anymore.

I have REPEATEDLY filled out the form to unblock my photobucket album and nothing has happened, so today I filled out another message that said if nothing is done within 48 hours, let us know and boy did I!

I can finally post a recent finish!! I finished this earlier in the month but I couldn't post it because it was part of a stitching challenge on a board I joined earlier this month. I am really proud of it because it's my first attempt at finishing a Pin keep. The pattern is from Dragonfly Stitches and it's stitched on 32 count hand dyed fabric with Dragon Floss.

I picked up my Breast Cancer Mandela project and stitched on that Wednesday and Thursday as part of our Stitch for a Cause SAL on Needle Nook. I really need to finish up my SanMan SAL project too.

A very dear, sweet board member on Cross Stitch Crazy had some very heartbreaking news to share with us. Her husband is dying of cancer. Henny is such a very sweet, older lady and always so cheery but now she needs cheering up herself. This is going to be such a sad time for her. I am donating a Valentine project I stitched this month to help make a quilt for her. I am going to donate my stitched project from Tranquil Stitchers for the quilt.

I just want to sign my name and where I'm from and send it off.

Feb. 4

Hi lurkers, welcome back. I see a lot of you have been here and visited. You may not like my choice of words for the next little bit so if you are easily offended by foul language it would be a good idea to back out now.

The fucking morons that run the internet here have decided to take away 2/3 of the bandwitdth to home users and give it to businesses. If these idiots would wake the fuck up and UPGRADE the internet here or open more "censorship" centers then they wouldn't have to do this! This is just utterly stupid. If you can picture a tournament bracket and how everything eventually filters down to 1 place than that is what the internet is here. Everything filters down to 1 little place to be censored then is sent back out into the real world. It took 4 1/2 minutes to load this page, it takes over 7 minutes to load my message board pages because everyone just has to use fancy, glittery, animated signatures.
There has also been some sort of cable cut in the Mediterrean Sea that has caused the internet to be slow here, so more than likely the assholes will stand there, scratch their asses, pick their noses, scratch their crotches (LIKE THEY DO HERE ALL THE TIME) while they figure out what to do.

WOO HOOOO! THE GIANTS WON THE SUPERBOWL!! What an upset victory! I am excited about this, they ruined the patriots perfect season! I HATE the Patriots and their attitude.

One of my groups that I belong to moved over to Yucko last week. The move went smooth and that board moves a whole lot faster and smoother than the Cross Stitch Crazy board does, I guess it's because there aren't as many members and there aren't all those HUGE, flashy, animated signatures used. Now if I could figure out how to get the chat to work over on Needle Nook, it would be great!
I've been doing some SALS on the boards. I finished stitching AND finishing a Challange project on the Jayne's Attic group and I just can't wait to post it. I am so excited about how I finished it, it's a new finishing techinque to me and I really like it! Not to mention I actually FINISHED something~! The Needle Nook had a Critter SAL over the weekend and I stitched a little bit on a Cat bookmark from Pinn Stitch that I started ?? years ago. Today I might start a "Coloring book page" from the Tranquil Stitchers board. The SanMan 12 Days of Christmas SAL starts Feb 5th and I like this months pattern so I may do that too. So much for finishing up much on that LOOOOOOng list of projects.

Yesterday, Feb, 3 would have been my wedding anniversary if I had stayed married to my 1st husband. What can I say, I was 19, young and stupid. I met him in December, we went out a few times, he asked me to marry him in January, I said Yes. We were married Feb 3, he decided he made a mistake in marrying me 2 1/2 weeks later and went to Santo Domingo, Domician Republic and got a divorce. Our divorce was final on March 3, 1 month after we were married. I don't often remember that anniversary but I had read something on the internet yesterday that made remember that.

As much as I hate to admit this, I have been a LOT sicker since I quit smoking than when I did smoke. I have had one huge sinus/allergy infection since 2 weeks after I quit, my blood pressure has gone UP instead of down, sometimes I can't catch my breath when I run up and down stairs more than twice in a row, I have gained at least 15 pounds since November and my clothes don't fit well, I can't seem to concentrate as well on things as I did when I smoked. Quitting smoking has side effects as much as smoking does. BUT I HAVE NOT SMOKED since the couple of puffs I had in December when I was home, so I still consider my self smoke free for 80+ days, 2 1/2 months now.

Well, anyway, I am going to ATTEMPT to post this BUT nothing is going anywhere at the moment, the assholes must have cut the bandwidth already.

Dinner tonight is home made from scratch chilli. I don't know what I put in it that is not agreeing with me but every time I open the lid to stir, I feel like throwing up. I don't know what has upset my stomach but I just want to throw up.

AARRRRRGGGGG!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketPhoto Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketPhoto Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
This damn internet connection is driving me nuts! It is SLOWER THAN DIAL UP IF the pages actually load. I had something all typed up yesterday and it wouldn't post, it just sat there doing nothing! This is really what makes me want to have a cigarette, when I have to sit here and stare at blank pages! But I won't, there aren't any in the house.
Speaking of which, another day with out a cigarette, I think it was good of me to try and quit here because here I can't jump in the car and drive out to the store and buy a pack since I am not allowed to drive here and I would have to ask DH to take me to the store or go get them for me, so another pat on the back for myself!
The weather here is changing, I was fine yesterday until I stepped outside for a few minutes then I started sneezing again, today I'm sneezing, blowing my nose and my knees hurt. It's SO humid too. It's only 87 at noon but it's so miserable.
I did get to stitch yesterday, I added about 300 stitches worth of blue floss next to the blob of red thread on my project and it doesn't look like anything. Today I woke up and found some GREAT patterns in my e-mail that I dropped everything to start, except the now the fucking printer won't work, either one of them.
DH got me a new cell phone yesterday so I have to sit down and figure out how to work it.

November 19

WOO HOO! I finished a project! It only took me 2 weeks to stitch a little ornament. This is for an exchange on one of my groups. It's from the 2007 JCS Ornament issue and it's stitched on 32 count Champagne Cocktail opalescent fabric from Enchanted Fabrics.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

I've been doing well, only slipped twice so far since Thursday which I think is excellent! I'm taking Chantix http://www.chantix.com/content/Chantix_Branded_Homepage.jsp?setShowOn=../content/Chantix_Branded_Homepage.jsp&setShowHighlightOn=../content/Chantix_Branded_Homepage.jsp (sorry, don't know how to just make the name the link) to help me quit as well. I don't feel that it does anything what so ever except make me feel nauseous from time to time.

Not much else happening, DH switched ISP's again and this one flat out sucks. Our ISPs here are "pay as you go" type things like your cell phone service. You buy an internet card at the store, it gives you a phone number to dial up on your computer, you type in the scratch off PIN number on the back of the card and you have 30 days of internet service by that provider. This one is almost slower than dial up and we are supposed to have "high speed".

I finally got my new stash sort of put away yesterday, at least I took it out of my suitcase. I either need to find a bigger box for the patterns or I need a new box, they all won't fit. There are SO many patterns I want to stitch but I am just stuck in a stitchy slump. I need to finish another ornament, finish my nieces wedding project that didn't get done in time for her wedding in July, start and finish a project for my son's girlfriend for Christmas. I need to stitch those first before I stitch something for me.

April 15

Easter came & went, just another day here. I colored eggs, DH bought me a HUGE Nestles Aero chocolate egg and 2 chocolate bunny "lollypops". The back of the box the huge egg came in had a little tag that said "Happy Easter", that's why he bought it.

Not much going on. The censors finally unblocked my photobucket albums but there are still some albums that I can't see pictures from.
A Rod has been doing well for the Yankees, 7 home runs so far, but the team themselves isn't doing so well. The pitching staff is lousy.

I finished my Stuffed Square Easter Eggs project on Easter day but I don't know how I'm going to finish it yet, maybe a cube block.

I finally got around to finishing my flip flop ornament. I am not at all happy with the sloppy job I did but it's all glued down now so I'll have to leave it. I'll have to make a better cardboard shoe print so it fits smoother around the curves. The next one I am going to stitch is an anchor, Terry & I are going to start it on the 20th.
I just can't get into stitching much this month. There are a lot of projects I want to do but no ambition to stitch.

More news on my father

And it's GOOD news! I got another e-mail from my sister Wednesday:
I just wanted to let you know that dad went to the hematologist today for the results on his bone marrow and the news is good. He does not have leukemia or any other diseases of the blood to worry about. He just needs to continue taking his B-12 pills. All of his bloods values are within normal limits, including his blood sugar. Please thank all of your friends for their prayers for him. He truly appreciates them.

Well, the internet censor idiot morons are at it again. My photobucket account is blocked and I can't access it. I can see some pictures posted by photobucket but not many. I can see the ones I have posted on the message boards but I can't get into my account! I sent them 2 "unblock requests" but I bet they just delete them without reading them. I never get a reply from them either. I also went to MySpace yesterday and EVERYTHING past the home page is blocked. Next thing you know, they'll block Blogger too! This REALLY pisses me off.

The Yankees game for Wednesday was cancelled due to rain, but the METS won their game 10-0 !! I root for the Mets in the National league.

The other day I started stitching a project called Stuffed Square Easter Eggs by San Man originals but I just can't get into the stitchy mood after the month long stitchalong. I am stitching this project on 32 count Witches Brew hand dyed fabric from Enchanted Fabrics (http://www.enchantedfabrics.com/) with DMC floss.

Wow, another snow storm has hit HOME. Snow, rain and cold. Glad I'm not there yet, but I DID get my plane ticket the other day.

Another Wednesday

And of course the internet is messed up. It seems to happen every Wednesday lately. It takes forever for pages to load.

I started another monthly Sampler project the other day. This one is March Lucky Leprechaun by The Monkey Works. I'm stitching it on 28 count hand dyed fabric with DMC threads. Here is what I have stitched so far. Only 3 more bands and the stitching will be finished.

March 1 starts monthly stitchathons on 2 of my boards so I've got my projects lined up. On the 1st I start a SAL project with another lady on CSC, America Needleroll by Eventide Designs. It is very nice and it looks like it will be a quick stitch.
