I will not be taking my extended 5 month vacations since I have to get him up for work, get him dressesd, cook his food, help him with his shower etc. I am his only caregiver. It will not be a fun vacation and will be very stressful, but I guess I am thankful he is alive.

Time to re-group
I'm back in the Magic Kingdom
I've gained back 10 lbs I lost last year
My diabetes is out of whack
One of my closest and dearest friend has cancer
Jet Lag sucks
So I'm back in hell after 5 months of vacation. Been back since Friday, Oct. 16, or whatever date Friday was. Vacation was too short, too many things not done. I ate stuff I shouldn't have but I did exercise. I joined a gym and went with a new friend I met on SparkPeople and she made me have the ambition to go. So now once I get over jet lag, I need to get back on track.
Yes, one of my dear, sweet friends has cancer. Both lung and brain cancer. I don't want to think about how much longer she has all I want to think about is that I WILL SEE HER IN JUNE OR JULY! I know she said not to cry but sometimes you just can't help it.
I didn't stitch the entire time I was HOME but as I was entering all my new stash in my never ending database I just wanted to start stitching everything! So last night (or this morning) I started stitching the Halloween Biscornu from Dinky-Dyes Designs.

Unfortunately I didn't count enough times and added an extra stitch on the square. I did rip out stitches already so I didn't feel like ripping them out again since I am using silk threads. I will just have to have an extra stitch. I do have the scissors to go with it.
I had an accident with my brand new car too. The day after DH got HOME, we were out and I just made a stupid mistake and smacked into a light pole. Nothing internal in the car was messed up, just the front right bumper. It did cost $3000 to repair but luckily insurance paid most of it.
So that is basically it. Sorry for the lack of communication, I hope to be able to get better about it.

MORONS! (Language WARNING!)
RUDDY SEASON: Valentine’s Day flowers and teddy bears are displayed at one of the upmarket gift shops in Jeddah on Thursday. (AN photo)
Ahmed Al-Ghamdi, head of the commission’s branch in Makkah province, said the agency has instructions to eliminate any activities aimed at celebrating this event or sell products related to it.
“This is based on the teachings of Shariah. God ordained Muslims to celebrate their own festivals in place of un-Islamic ones,” he said. “So Muslims are not allowed to celebrate any festivals other than Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha.”
Arab News toured a number of shops selling flowers, chocolates and assorted gifts. All but one of the stores avoided any hint in their displays of merchandise that Valetine’s Day is tomorrow.
But money talks even if most shopkeepers don’t: The price of red roses have gone up as much as 10 times the regular price, indicating a demand.
“We ordered thousands of these Indian red roses this morning,” said a Filipino florist in Jeddah who only wanted to be named Armando. “By tonight, the roses will be sold out.”
The price of one red rose is typically SR5, he said. The price starts at SR10 running up to Valentine’s Day. As the stock is depleted, the prices rise to as much as SR50. Armando says he sells full arrangements of 200 roses for SR2,000.
“It is not even Saturday night yet and people are coming in and buying these items,” he said. “This is a season of love and appreciation, so buyers come here to purchase these items for these reasons.”
The religious authorities tend to look out for red items sold in these stores, viewed as an attempt by merchants to market the holiday. However, one shop in Jeddah was found to be openly selling red flowers and stuffed toy animals.
“Red flowers are sold throughout the year,” said the shopkeeper, who only went by the name Fadi.
By tomorrow his roses will be selling for SR50, or 10 times his usual price.
Another flower shop owner said that from his perspective Valentine’s Day is simply one of year’s peak retail seasons. This shopkeeper, who didn’t want his name published, said customers come to him with special requests, or they bring in their own stuffed animals or poems to deliver with the flowers.
In many cases florists keep and arrange bouquets behind the scenes or in separate, undisclosed locations.
Prices of chocolates, too, have risen at specialty shops. At one shop in Jeddah an assorted box of chocolates that normally sells for SR150 was selling for SR200. And though commission members are looking out for signs of Valentine’s Day merchandising, it was possibly to find heart-shaped red boxes of chocolate.

Feb 8
I did my walk this morning, this fucking humidity is miserable. Even though the temp said it was 75 at 9:30, the humidity had to be up around 90%. I had gotten to the end of my street, maybe 45 seconds and I was already sweating. BUT I persevered and walked for 49 minutes, 2.2 miles. YAY YAY ME! Oh and I haven't taken a shower after my walk. Why not? Well because the assholes here cut the water pressure down or cut the water off totally EVERY fucking week day at 10AM until 1PM. I have no idea why, but they do.
When I do my walks the TCNs (Third Country Nationals that this country hires to do meanial labor) all just scowl at me. There are maybe 2 or 3 that will actually smile and say hello or nod when I walk by, but most of them just frown. They are out there all day in the heat and humidity with bright yellow jumpsuits sweeping the trash off the streets with tree branches. Yep, they don't have brooms, instead the brake off branches of bushes/trees and use them for brooms. They work 6 1/2 days a week for about $100 a month, which is about $85 more a month than they would make in their home countries of Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka or Bangladesh. We pay the guy that takes care of our yard more that his company does because he does a good job and he is a pet lover.
The lazy rat bastard rag head brats must be on school break, they are out doing their destruction on the compound. One brainless moron was playing in the irrigation water, now mind you the irrigation water is recycled shit water plain and simple. It's filtered a wee bit then used to water the plants and this moron was having fun stepping on the hose where water was spewing out watering the grassy area on the playground.
The other night when it rained, the brats next door, yes even the 3 year olds, were out running up and down the street bare foot in the water that was running down the street from other sections of the compound. Now even though the streets are swept every day, who knows what is flowing in that water besides all the trash, pull tabs, broken bottles and other assorted bad stuff that the morons throw on the ground.
Yep, I know the solution to this, pack my bags and move back to the USA. But answer this, If you had a secure job with decent pay & so so benefits in a not so great place, would you go back to your home country without a job where the economy sucked right now with a mortgage to pay, needing a new car in the middle of winter? As long as I have my fucked up Internet and my cross stitch I'll stay. I know I shouldn't complain either, DH has a job, I don't have to work, we have a roof over our heads, food to eat, so so health and our kids are fine, which I know is more than some people have.
Anyhow, that is my vent/rant for today but since the bastard brats are on school break, I'm sure I'll be good and pissed off this week.

How many days have I been here?
Ok, well, after the terrorizing ride through traffic lst night looking for the place to have my passport pictures taken, it was gone so we had to go to a new place. The guy was busy taking photos of his friends so I went back down stairs in the shop and the shop manager wanted to know what happened, I told him. So the manager goes back upstairs and tells the guy "US Passport pictures NOW" Pissed the guy off and his friends too but got that done. Come back after 45 minutes to pick up picture.
Ok so another terror filled ride to another shopping center to look for exercise equipt. Found a jump rope & some stretchy ropes then went to the grocery store.
Well it sure is going to be fun trying to track what I eat on Spark People because IF there are nutrition lables on stuff it definately isn't in English. Then out of the corner of my eye I saw somthing, yep, a mouse ran across the floor under the huge shelving units. Wasn't that fun? Killed time during wailing hour in the grocery store. Go back & pick up my pictures.
Ok so now today the kitchen faucet is spraying water out of the base of the faucet. DH says he's had them fixing it 3 times so far while I was gone so I called them again. The guy says water not work from dish washer? I said NO, WATER FAUCET! Geeze, so that was like 40 minutes ago, we'll see how long it takes them.
I did manage to walk this morning, for 21 minutes, made 1 1/4 circuit of the compound ring road. I am pleased because that is progress to me. However, I weighed myself and that scale is WAY OFF! Not to mention it's in kilos not pounds, oh well. Last week in the Dr;s off I weighed in at 151.4, today the stupid scale says 147. I think NOT! I don't think I've lost THAT much weight in a week because it doesn't feel like it. I'll except 150 but NOT 147. Someone needs new scales. Did I mention it was 92F when I was walking this morning? I'll take my 42F and put on extra clothes. I did however walk in ankle lenght pants, a jogging bra, compression shirt AND an 3X t shirt on just to make sure I was covered enough. My Ipod made it a little more bearable.
Oh did I mention that before I left my comfy HOME I was cleaning up in the bathroom and a stone popped out of my diamond ring? I was horrified, heartbroken but spent 10 minutes on the floor looking for it and luckily found it. It's so teeny tiny but it needs to be fixed. I feel naked without my ring!
Gotta go sort through my new cross stitch stash and put it away. I really hope I have uplifting posts soon!

What a miserable week!
I have a few things to bring back for a friend of ours and it weighs a LOT. I need to get a new suitcase so now I am hoping between my XS stash, DH's Christmas presents and my work out stuff it will fit. I don't give a damn if I have to pay excess baggage fee I just want it all to fit.
DH & I have to stay the night in a hotel on Wednesday night so he can get a 5 AM bus to Boston to fly to JFK to catch his ONCE A WEEK flight back to hell. So there are 2 days lost to get things done. The house will not be cleaned the way I like it to be clean when I leave and we keep tripping over each other. I'm sorry but no way in hell are we traveling this close together again. I need my space to get things done.
I got my diabetic blood monitor and all that crap yesterday and they showed me how to use it, so now I have reading material for the plane. I have to take a pill once a day too. I am just so fucking thrilled, this was a shitty summer again.
The fall colors are so beautiful & vibrant this year, so much prettier than last year. Sadly this is the last year I will get to see the fall colors for a few years. It was 34F when I woke up this morning, needless to say, I turned the heater on.
I am trying to do several loads of laundry, back up my summer files to my zip drive, make sure my iPod works for the flight, clean out the fridge, make sure everything that goes in my carry on is ready, and not to cry. It's not working well.

Thank you
Well the dr.'s office FINALLY called me back today after 3 days of calling them and said there was a mix up and the paper got put back in my file instead of being sent to a nutritionist, BUT they DID call the one at the hospital and she is supposed to call me. Well that was 3 hours ago and no call yet. Sorry but I can't sit home all day tomorrow waiting for her to call. I'll just muddle along.
I guess I've done something right because I've lost 9 lbs but it has taken almost 2 months. I don't know WHERE the weight went, I'm still the same measurements I was before.
My parents will be here on Sunday for a week, so it should be fun trying to feed them real food rather than what I eat since they are diabetics. I also won't be on the computer much, they just 'get' it. (Yep Velda, Priscilla & Amy are coming, I will tell them you love the lamps) So I will revert to being 16 years old again for a week.
Monday is Spa day, last month my DD & I went to the outlet center for a "Diva Day" thing and I entered a contest for either a day at the spa & full make over, or a day spa treatment for 7 of my friends or a full make over. I WON the day spa treatment for 7 of my friends! So the lady is coming to the house on Monday morning and we'll to the spa treatment thing, that will be FUN!
My niece wants to go to the ocean one day, outlet shopping another day then we'll have to take the grandparents to see their Grandson & great-grandson one day (more shopping). I know we will have a lot of fun.
Then 5 days after they leave, DH comes HOME and things get busy. Sadly that means my vacation will be over and it will be time to go back to hell. WHERE HAS THE SUMMER GONE?
Oh, just for the record, I've been home since May 30 with every opportunity to jump in the car and go to the corner store for cigarettes but HAVEN'T. I am damn proud of myself for that. There have been several trying days here that I have craved one but didn't bother. too much of a hastle to get in the car, hope it starts & drive out to town.
Go Yankees.

LOLOLOLOL
CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP!
It's funny how a certain group who regularly post on another certain message board can be rude, crude snotty and mean on one board but accuse others on another board, LOLOLOLOL.
I had my follow up blood work drawn today. I asked if they could call and let me know the results and she told me they had too many patients to call everyone with their results. If there is nothing wrong, I will get them in the mail in about a week. Well I don't want to wait a week, I want to find out if all this change in eating and my thyroid medication has actually done any good. To top it all off, they then called me and told me that my Dr apt. will have to be pushed back a week. So now if there IS anything wrong, well sorry, it will be too late to do anything before I go back to hell. I've also got this nasty red blotch where she took the blood. That hasn't happened in a LONG time. Sounds like it's time to find different drs.
All in all, I feel better, I am up to 2 1/2 miles walking, I use a stability ball, dumb bells, a jump rope to do exercises on. I've lost 5-7 lbs. I'm still really fustrated about this eating thing. SparkPeople.com helps some.
My hosue is coming along very nice. The garage is done except for siding, the siding is going on. It's a light beige with just a tiny hint of sage green. It's gettingn cooler here now too, no more 90's. The leaves have already started changing on the trees.
Both my kids and grandsons were at the hosue yesterday and it was fun having them here. I bought a small bouncy house for them and they love it.
Haven't stitched in forever.

So depressing
So then I go to my GP for a check up. She royally chews me out for my weight being up, my blood pressure being up but never congratulates me on quitting smoking like SHE suggests, FINE! Thank you! She says at my age I should be able to walk 5 miles with no problems and I need to strive to meet that goal, I NEED to cut out ALL carbs, salts, sweets. Ok, bring on the styrofoam, cardboard & water. That was a real morale booster there. so since I had basically fasted since 6 AM the night before, I had a blood draw done. She called me the next day which she never does and says my blood sugar levels are sky high, cholesterol # is through the roof and my thyroid level is high. the thyroid was fine last October. She put me on medication for that and said that would explain why I haven't been able to loose weight and lots of other problems that I've been having. So now I am all bummed out about what the hell to eat! If it is low in calories, it's high in sodium, if it's low fat, it's high in carbs and on and on. I can't eat this, I can't eat that, it's so damn depressing. I just wish I could get straight answers from someone ANYONE who can flat out tell me what I CAN eat and what I CAN'T eat. Ya know, can I eat fresh home made from scratch bean salad? can I eat eggs, can I eat home made vegetable stir fry? Just give me straight answers and make me a list! GEEZE!
Oh yeah, the smoking thing, it's been 8 months, woo hoo. I am sort of proud that I've made it almost 2 months here in the free world on my own without buying OR smoking a cigarette!
I haven't stitched hardly at all or bought stash. I did put in a few stitches when I was at my son's place with my "daughter in law" one afternoon while my 2 grandsons played. I just don't have much energy to do anything.
I joined this site called SparkPeople, it's supposed to be a site to help motivate each other, recipes etc. www.sparkpeople.com
Well, that's all the exciting news from this ray of sunshine for now.

My quit stats
It's been 160 days since you quit.
Not buying cigarettes may have saved you:
$640
I don't have the exact days, hours, minutes & seconds like some pages do nor do I have how many days, hours, minutes or seconds of my life I have saved. Some days are still harder than others.
There is this certain "designer" out there that is extremely miserable to deal with. She puts up her latest "items", the price, says e-mail me to order, takes your orders and your money then says she "mailed" your order out. But then all of a sudden she gets a headache, her phone is down, her kids are sick, this disaster, that disaster and disappears and will NOT answer questions or messages on her board, nor will she come to the direct point and answer EXACTLY WHEN OR IF your order was mailed. IF by chance she has mailed your order, it gets stuffed into Ziploc baggies and stuffed into a regular letter envelope, bulging and all. There are items I would like to order from her but I will not do that now because of her lack of service. It's one excuse after another with her. I am NOT the ONLY ONE that is having problems getting my order, there are SEVERAL others who have not gotten theirs either. I ordered in JANUARY and still have not gotten my order,
I stitched a bit last night on my exchange project.
Last night we just had a large kitchen sink salad. tonight we are having beef/vegetable kabobs with home made macaroni & cheese to clean up some cheese I have left over.
Other than that, same shit, different day.

A new week
DH & I had to go meet a friend this past Thursday so we went browsing in the mall. I walked into this "stuff store" and found the PERFECT Arabesque style hanging lamps for V's house! I fell in love with them and started taking pictures so I could send them to her. Well this guy who worked there came along and wanted to know why I was taking pictures, what for. I tried to explain that it was for a friend's house decoration, to ask her which one she liked, I wasn't going to buy them if she didn't like they. Well are you going to come back here and buy them? he asked. Anyway Velda loved them so sometime this week or next weekend we will have to go back. I did find a pair of purple flip flops in another store that I bought and I HATE shopping for and buying shoes but now when we go back and get the lamps, I might buy a couple more pair in different colors.
Well that hardanger project is ruined. I went back and read that message board again that I joined to help with the project and read that i was supposed to cut closer to the edge than I did, so I re cut carefully, or so I thought. I must have cut 1 too many threads and now the stitching thread has been cut in a couple of places with no way to fix it. I had to put it up. Kind of puts a damper on attempting more hardanger
I stitched more on that August blackwork pattern last night. I am not at all fond of the thread color I used for August, it's way too light and doesn't really show up very nice. Here's a really bad picture of it

Ah well, It's another SAL weekend on NeedleNook anyway so it's time to put August away weather it's done or not. Here's a really bad picture of it
It's the Critters SAL weekend on Needle Nook so I may tie that in with our Extra Special Fob exchange project.
I am not sure yet weather I like the April Stitching challange project on Jaye's Attic or not. I didn't vote for the April pattern. I'll have to wait to see if I have time to stitch it.
I do like the April Coloring Book page from Tranquil stitches and I may try to squeeze that in. I also signed up for the Needleroll Exchange so hopefully I will be able to mail it on May 31.
I do however NEED to get stitching on 2 other special Friendship exchanges. I know what I want to stitch and I have them kitted up, just need to stitch.
Last nights dinner was grilled fish, mushy peas, and colrslaw. We took plain fresh fish, put fresh dill, garlic & butter on, wrapped them in foil and grilled them on the gas grill outside, and they were delicious! I think tonight we're going to have vegetables & fruits again.
LaFemme Nikita starts tonight! Yes, I know it's an OLD programme and it's been over for years but one of the tv stations here is going to start from the first episode tonight. We have seen this show before but we like it and Alias is over.
Well, it's time to do the walk, then the areobic vacuuming & dusing, total bathroom clean. (WHICH ARE SOME OF THE THINGS I CAN DO BETTER NOW THAT I QUIT SMOKING)

Happy March

Ok, so March is the Stitchathon on Cross STitch Crazy and Needle Nook, so let's see how much stitching I can actually get done this month. I am not going to set goals because I know I won't meet them. I am not doing this month's SanMan SAL project, it's cute, but I have other things to get done.
Last night's dinner was baked salmon with fresh dill, garlic, green onion and butter, steamed cauliflower & carrots and macaroni salad. Thursday nights' dinner was the last of the beef stew that I put some curry powder in. It was REAL good with the curry powder. I told DH last night that I am tired of eating! All I want to eat is maybe some sliced tomatoes, cucumbers and simple stuff like that. No more big meals. I don't have snack stuff in the house anymore so maybe smaller meals will help us both.

Feb 18
PLEASE EXCUSE THE TYPOS, FOR SOME STUPID REASON, MY SPELL CHECKER DOES NOT WORK.
More damn stupid censor bullshit. Now my photobucket account is blocked by those assholes. ACCESS TO THIS URL IS NOT ALLOWED! Fuck you! That is MY photo album. Geeze. Not to mention it's getting difficult to get into my blogger because it's in Arabic sccribbling across the top main page so I have to fucking clue how to get the page to come up in English no matter how many times I tell it ENGLISH in my setting page.
I am a Great Aunt! My niece gave birth to a boy last Wednesday. Ryan was born on Feb. 13 at 7Pm weighing 6 1/2 lbs and 19 3/4 inches long. My Sister is a Gramma! I can pick on her now.
So last Thursday, on Valentines day (that is NOT celebrated in this country) we went to the grocery store. I wore my bright pink pants under my black ninja robe. The candy and sweets isle was crowded with people buying candy, the plant/flower area has a couple lovely Valentine arrangements sitting out, there were plenty of red roses sitting in a vase. I didn't check the price because that wasn't what I was looking for. We went out to our favorite Italian resturant for dinner and I had on my bright pink pants with a darker pink top under my black ninja robe. Then we went over to the grocery store to see if they had stuff the other store didn't. They had LOTS and LOTS of Valentine candy. They had heart shaped boxes of chocolates in plain view, they had teddy bears in their display cases, they had red flowers. What a bunch of morons.
Now there is NO FLOUR in this country! I bought the last 2KG bag of flour the store had the other day. I also bought a bag of something called "Kitchen Flour" for pastries. I have no idea what the difference is but I'll have to try it.
Speaking of cooking, last week I fixed Fish and chips and mushy peas on Friday, MMMMM it was good, I finally figured out how to cook the mushy peas right. Saturday was leftovers, Sunday was stir fried vegetables & tofu with shrimp chips over noodles. Tonight will be leftovers from that. Tuesday will be Chilies Rellenos.
We got our Discovery Channels back finally! I bet anything Orbit didn't pay thier re subscription fee to those channels. So now we have Discovery, Discovery Science, Discovery Travel & Leisure, Animal Planet. That adds 4 more English channels in addition the the 6 we already have. Yes there are more channels on the satellite system but only 6 or so that are worth watching.
This past week was the stitchathon on Cross Stitch Crazy. I was really hoping to get the stitching done on my San Man SAL project but as usual I didn't get much done. I only stitched 3 days and didn't put many stitches in at all. 500 stitches total if I'm lucky. In the past, I could have done that many plus more in one day. I need to shut my computer down and unplug it in order to get anything at all done.
This week we are doing a new SAL at Needle Nook. It will be an Awareness SAL. I chose the Breast Cancer Awareness theme for February so I will be working on the Breast Cancer Mandela for B's MIL who passed away in October.
I also need to get busy and start stitching a Sue Hillis project for the SAL at Tranquil Stitchers. I am going to stitch My Heart bleongs to the Sea for my DH

RIYADH - Agents of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice visited flower and gift shops in the capital Saturday night to instruct them to remove all red items - from red roses and wrapping paper to boxes and teddy bears - from their shelves, shop workers said.
"They visited us last night," said a couple of florists Sunday morning. "They gave us warnings and this morning we packed up all the red itmes and displays."
The florists asked not to be identified.
Sunday was the last day people could buy red roses in Riyadh, until Valentine's Day on Feb. 14 passes.
Every year, Commission agents visit flower shops a couple of days before Feb. 14 to issue warnings. On the eve of Valentine's Day, they start their raids and confiscate any red items that are symbols of love, florists here said.
But as a result of the ban, there's a black market in red roses.
"A single rose costs around SR5-7 but today the same rose costs SR10 a piece and the price will go up to SR20-30 on Valentine's Day," said a florist who caters to customers on Valentine's Day from his apartment.
Loyal customers place orders with the florist days and sometimes weeks before Feb. 14. "Sometimes we deliver the bouquets in the middle of the night or early morning, to avoid suspicion," said the florist.
Islamic scholars around the Kingdom such as Sheikh Khaled Al-Dossari preach that celebrating Valentine's Day and other non-Islamic celebrations is a sin. "As Muslims we shouldn't celebrate a non-Muslim celebration especially this one that encourages immoral relations between unmarried men and women," Dossari, a scholar in Islamic Studies and the Shariah, said.
However, many young hearts are planning to celebrate in their own way, whether in secret, abroad or on the Web.
"I send e-cards to all my special friends online," said Famita Hakeem, a young Saudi university student.
"We are planning on going to Dubai Wednesday night to celebrate Valentine's Day as a couple," said Hannan Radi, a Saudi wife and teacher.
With Valentine's Day coinciding with the mid-term break, some Saudis have already left the Kingdom. With Bahrain so close to Al-Khobar, many Saudis who cannot travel further are planning on driving to Manama this weekend.
"I expect the bridge to be packed full," said Mahmood Naseeb, a Khobar resident.
"This happens every year on Valentine's Day but this year it might be worse because many people are on vacation."

January 26
Today is another grey, overcast, cloudy humid day that smells like rain.
I started stitching this project yesterday but didn't get very far. It's by Dragonfly stitches designs. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v644/dragonfly_stitches/freebies%20from%20Dragonfly%20Stitches/?action=view¤t=valentineheart.jpg I am stitching mine with Love and Laughter floss from Dragon Floss.
Did you know I'm tacky? Some bitch on the 123 board is berating those of us who have tattoos. I would love to find out what her favorite interest is and bash that to the ground, but then that would put me at the same level she is, rude and ignorant, but then I know there are those that think I am already rude and ignorant.
Don't know what is for dinner tonight yet, think I have to make a list.
This is what it says on my Chantix page:
Your Progress
It's been 73 days since you quit.
Not buying cigarettes may have saved you:
$292
This should have been my last week taking the Chantix, but I haven't taken them as much as I should because of the horrible side effect it causes, the awful farting. The craving to smoke is still there and sometimes just as bad as day 1 was but I've gotten through it.

January 23
It's the weekend!!!
I got up, dressed and went out side to check out the rain damage and accumulation from last night and needless to say it's NOT shorts and short sleeve weather out there this morning. It is windy and on the "cooler" side for here. Not a whole lot of water around but again today it's overcast and cloudy and my weather page says rain again today. Now this is VERY rare for here.
I also got side tracked on the net from what I was doing and I found this. I love the saying on it.

I found another must have!
When I sat down at my computer this morning there was this thick black line of itty bitty ants marching across the top part of my computer desk. They went across the desk, up a cord, across the window sill, down the inside of the drape, across the bottom of the wall but I lost their trail behind the bookcase where the voltage regulator, printer and other stuff is. I sprayed all along their trail so I hope they don't come back.
Don't know what we are having for supper tonight, it's Wednesday, the start of the weekend here. Sounds like a good excuse to call for delivery pizza.

January 22 part 2
Another ARRRGGGGGGGGGGG!! I did something to my Yahoo mail and now I can't get to ANY Yahoo mail at all. I can get to my Yahoo home page just fine, I can see that I have mail in my mail box and when I click on go to mail it does go someplace and just sits here and loads, and loads, and loads but nothing happens. A blank page. I have erased ALL my cookies, erased ALL my temp. internet files, erased ALL my history files, logged in and out, in and out of Yahoo, rebooted the machine several times and I STILL CAN'T GET TO MY MAIL! This is VERY fustrating. This is just NOT MY WEEK!
Tonight we had chicken fried steak, mushy peas and sliced tomatoes, cucumbers & onion. MMMMMM mushy peas, I really like those. I am going to miss getting the "right" peas to make them when we leave here.
Ok, enough is enough. I'm sitting here typing away on my keyboard and I am sweating. It's NOT that hot in here, the A/C is on. If this is menopause then it doesn't look like fun. I know Aunt Flo hasn't visited in a couple months again and when that happens I see more and more signs of menopause. My legs feel like there are bugs or mosquitoes crawling on them and there is nothing there, the stubble sprouts on my chin and I have to pluck every couple of days, the mood swings are as bad as PMS. Yes I know WTMI.

January 21
"Officials say they rescued several people from the buildings, many of them three-story, wood-framed structures." Ok, were the people three-story wood-framed structures?
I am SO PISSED OFF at PayPal! I TRIED to send 3 payments yesterday for items I have ordered from different people. I have been using PayPal and sending payments to these 3 people for a couple years now from my 'FOREIGN IP ADDRESS". WELL I get notices back from 2 of the people saying that PayPal has limited my account access and says that someone may have used my accout to send these payments! YOU STUPID MORONS! IT WAS ME that made these transactions and now the stupid idiots PayPal have done something so that I can't finish up these disputes and get this cleared up. I have e-mailed them twice and gotten no response. If they don't respond by the end of today, I will call them on Tuesday and I will NOT be very polite to them!
I had to call maintenence this morning because one of our toilets just keep flush, flush, flush, flush. they will send plumber The maintenence men did come and fix my toilet, it took them over an hour to fix it.
I placed 2 separate stash orders today, so much for not buying anymore because I am not interested.
Some people must be really rude or they don't like to reply to certain people's posts. There are 16 views of a message I posted, only 5 replies and there aren't many posters on that board. This is the same board I am having issues with, those damn signatures are HUGE and flashy and really make it almost impossible to post there. Too bad I can't tell people do NOT use your signature when you reply to MY posts, LOLOL, that would piss them off. It takes about 2-3 minutes for a page to load on that board, not to mention this board is having issues with keeping updated.
Some of our best tv channels all of a sudden are gone. Our Discovery channels, Animal planet are gone. I'll bet the Orbit satellite service here didn't pay their provider on time again. I e-mailed them to ask when they will be back on and I bet I get the standard auto reply e-mail, it's technical difficulties.
On the up side, I finally got to watch Ratatoulli all the way through and it's SO cute, I like that movie.
Well enough venting for now.
